Nehru Zoological Park installs coolers to help animals beat the heat




In a bid to take special care of the animals in Nehru Zoological Park in Hyderabad, authorities are making special arrangements for the inmates, to make sure that they are able to beat the scorching heat this summer.

They have installed special coolers close to their natural habitat as possible. Grass and shade nets have also been installed in and around the cages.

Birds enclosures have covered with gunny bags, green mesh sheets have been installed to keep the animals comfortable.

Apart from these changes, their food supplements have also been altered like glucose is mixed in water regularly.

Maqsood Ali, official at the zoo said, all the large carnivore enclosures have been fitted with air-coolers. Water is also being given to all the animals along with Glucon D, and other suppliments.
